As many of you may be aware, we are a business based in the small village of Rothbury in rural Northumberland.
Capricorn Mohair Socks is part of the Shepherds Walks Ltd family which incorporates the following businesses –
- Capricorn Mohair Socks
- Shepherds Walks – Providing day walks and challenge walks throughout Northumberland.
- GPS Training – The largest independent retailer of GPS units in the country, and the only company that provides training on GPS units nationally.
- The Outdoor GPS Shop – Selling GPS units and watches, we will not be beaten on price.
- Shepherds Walks Holidays – Providing guided and self-guided UK walking holidays.
We are extremely proud of the success of all our businesses, and we are now recognised both nationally and internationally.
This has taken many years of hard work, planning and foresight from our founders Jon & Jane Monks. They have worked hard to build a small business, in a small community where staff are made up of local people who care about the work they do.
We know our products and we know what our customers expect, and we strive to deliver the best customer service to both returning and new customers. We understand how hard it is to be an independent retailer and a small business trying to thrive, especially in this current economic climate.
Capricorn Mohair Socks – UK Made
Capricorn Mohair Socks has worked hard to build up our reputation and customer base over the last few years and we are now so proud to have a large contingent of retailers stocking our UK-made Mohair Socks. We would like to give a big shout-out to all the small businesses that stock our products and a big shout out to all of the other small independent retailers in the UK.
For the next few weeks, we will publish a Small Business Appreciation Post highlighting one of our amazing retailers who are based all over the country, you can find them on our store locator page on our website – click here
As we approach summertime and many of you may be heading out for a UK based holiday, please keep a look out and support independent retailers and businesses, they work so hard and have suffered so hard in recent years due to various issues. They all deserve a shout out and recognition for all that they do.
We very much hope that you can share our upcoming posts and help to promote these fabulous retailers and hardworking staff members who work so hard so we can continue to expand and support fantastic independent shops all over the UK. If we don’t support them, we will lose them.
Thank you all for your support and please continue to support fantastic independent businesses in the UK.
