The world is very different this year so we have a Black Friday offer that will make a real difference.
Many thanks to everybody who bought socks over the Black Friday weekend.
With your kind generosity, we have made a donation, which will give 20 homeless people a warm meal on Christmas Eve.
Changing Lives opens up the doors at Cafe 16 in Newcastle Cathedral on Christmas Eve and their amazing team will be on hand to serve the people in real need in our community some warm Christmas food and spread some festive joy too.
Changing Lives began as a soup kitchen in 1970 and is now a nationwide charity helping people facing the most challenging circumstances make positive change – for good. They support people who are experiencing homelessness, unemployment, in recovery or facing abuse or exploitation.
Every year, Changing Lives supports thousands of people to overcome the challenges they face and go on to live happy, independent, fulfilling lives. They believe that everyone deserves a safe home, a rewarding job and a life free from addiction or abuse. They know that given the right support, anyone can change their life for the better.
Café 16 in Newcastle Cathedral will open its doors to Changing Lives this Christmas Eve and their amazing team will be on hand to serve people in real need in our community a hot meal and spread some festive joy too.
If you want to make a donation directly to the charity you can do that online here.
Many, many thanks from the team here at Capricorn Mohair Socks, for making a real difference this festive season.
